Tea Party Express rally in Phoenix attracts thousands; JD Hayworth and Joe the Plumber most popular speakers

When it appeared that the Tea Party bus was running a few minutes late after the rally started, the emcee Kelly Townsend, from GreaterPhoenixTeaParty.com, suggested having some folks in the audience come speak. The crowd responded by chanting, "JD! JD!" Joe the Plumber spoke halfway through the event, and had some harsh words for John McCain, saying "I am not politically castrated!"

Janet Contreras, running against Rep. Ed. Pastor Janet is the "Grandma from Phoenix" who wrote a letter to our nation's leadership which Glenn Beck which read on the air.

The music was excellent, words like "fiscally responsible that's the Tea Party" set to catchy folk music, country western and even rap!
