Schweikert for Congress: Liberals Bribing Away Our Republic

Schweikert for US Congress
“The American Republic will endure until the day Congress
discovers it can bribe the public with the public’s money.”
-Alexis de Tocqueville
We ought not forget that lesson, because power in the American system rests with the individual.
I need your help today - - not tomorrow, not next week - - but today, to send liberal Harry Mitchell the hard-hitting message: It’s time to take back our government!
It’s time for Harry Mitchell and the Nancy Pelosi Congress to step-aside. No more extreme one-party rule. They’ve bankrupt our country and their misguided policies have failed to grow the economy and create jobs.
This isn’t personal. This comes down to the very ideas We as a People fight to preserve. This is about the kind of government We the People elect to office.
This is about our freedom -- And why I’m asking for your support today.
-- A bankrupt nation cannot preserve freedom.
The extreme left and their welfare state policies have failed. They’ve spent the treasury into oblivion. They’ve promised and bribed away the very stability of our currency.
Where are the jobs?
Where is the investment?
It’s time that Washington understands that the People don’t serve the politicians – The politicians serve us: by doing what’s right for our country. And if they fail to do so, it will be at their own peril, which is why Harry must go!
Surely, after trillions upon trillions of government spending brought to you by higher taxes dropped on your family, the liberals in Washington have a plan to revive the American economy?
Guess what? They don’t!
Their idea of a jobs program is a government so large that it crowds out the free marketplace of ideas, creativity, ingenuity, and entrepreneurialism.
Harry Mitchell, Nancy Pelosi, and Barack Obama dole out government “stimulus” to favored groups and special interests. Liberal policies have failed to grow the economy and their spending is bankrupting us to the brink of collapse!
When will it end?
I’m running for Congress because we need strong conservative leadership in Washington. I will fight to preserve our individual liberty and the freedoms that have made America the land of opportunity.
They want government solutions to every problem.
You and I oppose that.
They want higher taxes, even more spending, central control, and have no plan to pay down our debt. They will charge even more entitlements and new government programs to our grandchildren at an unfathomable rate.
We believe we must reduce the size and cost of government.
I’m a tax cutter. I believe we should let people keep more of what they earn. It grows the economy and it creates jobs.
I am the only candidate in this race who has a true conservative record, who has consistently fought for our shared principles, fought to cut taxes and reduce the size of government.
I need your support today, and I encourage you to make a donation. Or get involved in our campaign - - request a yard sign or a bumper sticker. Help us walk neighborhoods.
I am continually honored by the groundswell of grassroots support our campaign receives from people like you. It’s what has made us the winning team we are today.
We don’t win in 2010 without Arizona’s Fifth Congressional district.
My fight to defeat Harry Mitchell depends on you.
Thank you for your time and your generous support,
David
