Car wash fundraiser today in memory of star athlete K.J. Bowen who was killed in car accident

Please stop by and get your car washed at the Circle K at 75th Avenue and Cactus Road before 5pm today. Keith Bowen, Jr. was tragically killed on Monday when his car rolled over on Interstate 40. K.J. was a very involved, popular student at Peoria High School.

Dimitriou said a viewing is scheduled for Monday evening but that a location hadn't been set. Funeral and memorial services will be held Tuesday at the First Institutional Baptist Church, 1141 E. Jefferson St., in Phoenix. That evening, students at Peoria High will hold a candlelight vigil.

The Keith Bowen Jr. Memorial Fund has been set up at Wells Fargo Bank and that anyone can make a donation to routing number 122105278 or account number 1788616512. The school, at 11200 N. 83rd Ave., Peoria, AZ 85345, is also accepting donations.
