This past week, we’ve seen our state thrust into the spotlight of the national debate on illegal immigration.
This is an issue that will not go away until our federal government decides to get serious about this problem and do something more than just pay it lip service.
Conservative columnist George Will makes some very powerful points in regards to birthright citizenship as a primary obstacle to a political solution and explains why the Supreme Court’s interpretation of the Constitution in this area is flawed.
