Dr. Paul Gosar Tops GOP Congressional Race Fundraising To Take On Incumbent Ann Kirkpatrick In Arizona's First Congressional District

FLAGSTAFF, ARIZONA. FEBRUARY 3, 2010.    Flagstaff small businessman and dentist Paul Gosar topped fourth quarter fundraising for Republican candidates looking to take on incumbent Ann Kirkpatrick in Arizona's First Congressional District. 

Dr. Gosar reported $212,000 in contributions for the campaign to date including over $100,000 in the fourth quarter alone.  Globe lawyer Bradley Beauchamp was a distant second with only $62,000 raised and to date only $34,000 left on hand.  Rounding out the group was lobbyist Rusty Bowers, who resides outside the district.  He raised only $46,000 and to date only has $13,000 left to spend.

Earlier this week Dr. Gosar announced the endorsement of Sheriff Joe Arpaio, which follows other notable endorsements from Pinal County's only Republican Supervisor, Bryan Martyn, and Prescott-area resident and former NRA President Bob Corbin. 

The pro-life, pro-Second Amendment Dr. Gosar has also been,emphasizing spending restraint, opposition to bailouts, jobs and more openness and ethics reform for Congress.
