David Schweikert: On January 1, 2011 the liberal Democrats in Congress are raising your taxes

  • Personal income taxes
  • Taxes on dividends
  • Capital gains taxes
  • The Marriage Penalty
  • The Death Tax
  • Alternative Minimum Tax
  • ObamaCare
- - It is unacceptable.
We are being held hostage. Reckless borrowing, debts, new spending every day, and failed policies that just don’t work.
It is clearer every day that Congressman Harry Mitchell, Speaker Pelosi, and this administration just don’t get it.
The last thing we need right now is a massive tax increase.
It is just common sense, and the American people get it. We don’t get up every morning asking for more government, more spending, bailouts and higher debts.
So why does this liberal government continue to drive us towards the cliff?
History tells us the way to create jobs, grow our economy, and revive prosperity is to believe in the American people.
The road to prosperity is not big government; it is government for and by the People.
Never forget.
Government works for us, not the other way around. And these liberal Democrats think that they can tax-and-take, spend-and-borrow everything we’ve earned.
I will fight tirelessly for you.
David
P.S. Take a look at this tax calculator. The Tax Foundation has run the metrics for what your taxes will look like if the liberal Democrats go unchecked and we do not stop the tax increases set for January 2011.
