If there is one Goldwater Institute event that you don’t want to miss this year, it will be the 2007 Goldwater Award Dinner on Friday, December 7. This year’s dinner will honor the extraordinary courage of Ayaan Hirsi Ali, the author of the international bestselling book Infidel and one of the world’s most eloquent advocates for individual freedom and human rights.

I am also happy to announce that Steve Forbes – CEO of Forbes, Inc. and one of the world’s most articulate advocates for free markets and economic liberty – will be joining us to deliver the evening’s keynote remarks. Ms. Hirsi Ali will deliver brief remarks as well, and will participate in a moderated question-and-answer period.
