Trent Franks to Hold Town Hall This Saturday
Peoria, AZ -- Congressman Trent Franks (AZ-02) has announced a town hall to be held this Saturday, October 22nd, from 2-5 PM. The event will be open to the public and the press. Full details are available below:

I want to thank Trent Franks for his efforts to stop the Sovereign Indian Reservation for a casino and the proliferation of our state with casinos it will cause. We voted for the compact for the Indian casinos on the desert and the Tohono O'odham tribe put language on the ballot that was not there and we voted on a tainted ballot. The casinos are perfect on the desert for those of us that want them and aid 17 tribes. They are an abomination to mankind and destroy lives, homes, families. I speak from experience. Their promise of employment would end up with their laborers paying them back after they build the casino and then play their slots. The tribes land claim should be vetted as it does not qualify for a trust which allows the Sovereign reservation. They could build tribal stores on their land as they are artisans of basket weaving and other Indian objects. Save our families and children from a casino
