Goldwater Institute's 20th Anniversary Celebration - Oct. 2

The Goldwater Institute's 20th Anniversary Celebration has been confirmed for Thursday, October 2, at the Arizona Biltmore Resort.

Our guest of honor (and the recipient of this year's Barry Goldwater Award for Liberty) will be Vaclav Klaus, the sitting President of the Czech Republic. President Klaus transformed his country from communism into one of Europe's freest economies, and will speak about how the lessons learned in that struggle might be applied to the ongoing struggle for freedom around the world today. Recent events in Georgia promise to make his remarks especially timely.

Formal invitations will be coming soon, but -- as we are expecting a particularly large audience this year -- I would encourage you to RSVP online now at http://www.goldwaterinstitute.org/events/eventdetails.aspx?id=123.
