AZ Right to Life - Bella movie premiere & seminar on how to talk about abortion

Arizona Right to Life

A big thank you to everyone who responded to our request for volunteers for the Arizona State Fair. We have now filled all the available volunteer slots with at least 2 volunteers (except for Halloween) but would still appreciate more volunteers to ensure that the booth can handle the thousands of people who visit it everyday. This event requires approximately 150 volunteers so we are very grateful to everyone who is helping us with this event.

On Wednesday, October 24th Arizona Right to Life will be hosting an educational seminar entitled "How to Talk to Anyone About Abortion." Program Specialist Trent Horn and Event Specialist Chris White will be equipping pro-lifers to not argue about abortion, but instead effectively dialogue about the issue so that hearts and minds can be changed to embrace life. They have years of experience speaking about abortion at high schools, churches, and colleges across the country and bring valuable real world expierences to their presentations. If you would like to register for this free seminar please reply to this email directly or call the AZRTL state office at 602-285-0063. Individuals who complete this seminar are eligible to recieve further pro-life speaker training.

The pro-life film Bella, winner of the Toronto Film Festival, will be premiering in Phoenix on October 26th. Please spread the word about where it will be playing so that people can make plans to see it on opening weekend. If the film does well, it may open in more theaters after the opening weekend. In addition, it would be helpful to encourage people to pre-purchase tickets.

Mesa - AMC Mesa Grande 24
Phoenix- Harkins Christown 14
Phoenix- North Valley 14

Finally, Lifenews.com just broke this story about a 21-year-old Virginia man who has been sentenced to five years in jail for poisoning his girlfriend and causing her to miscarry. Arizona pro-lifers Trent Horn and Brooke Burns dramatized the account in April of 2007 when the man was indicted for the poisoning. The film was scheduled to be shown to an ASU film class but was unexpectedly censored by the professor. The video is now hosted on the Arizona Right to Life website, which is committed to in-depth and comprehensive coverage of pro-life issues and events. To view the film click here.

Sincerely,

Trent Horn
