You don't have to be a member to attend this function. And, it will be worth your time to be there. And, the food is not bad at the restaurant (on the SW corner of Peoria and 43rd Ave). If you're politically conservative and haven't been to a PAChyderm Coalition meeting, you won't want to miss the one scheduled for Wednesday evening. Thayer Verschoor, Senate Majority Leader, will be speaking. Scheduled to attend is Sylvia Tenny Allen, the Senate replacement for the late Jake Flake. Saturday, her district's precinct committeemen elected Ms. Allen to take Mr. Flake's place on the November ballot. Also attending will be Don Goldwater, former candidate for Arizona Governor, and Russell Pearce, State Representative from the East Valley. Other possible attendees include the Speaker of the House, LD-6 Representative, and a host of others.
