Legal defense fund started for targeted conservative attorney and blogger Rachel Alexander

Michelle Malkin said about what happened to Rachel Alexander:

"Make no mistake: This is just another nasty battle in the Left’s long war to marginalize, demonize, and criminalize conservative dissent. The selective protection of free speech is unconscionable. The freedom to blog is under assault on so many fronts. It has to stop."

This legal defense fund was started due to friends shocked at what happened to Rachel Alexander, a conservative attorney, writer and former editor of a gun magazine - simply because she is a well-spoken conservative attorney who writes political articles and briefly represented Sheriff Joe Arpaio as one of his attorneys in 2010.

This could happen to any of us on the right. State Bar associations and the judiciary are almost monolithically controlled by the left, as many of you know, even in red states like Arizona where Rachel lives. The legal system was abused to terrorize her and destroy her life, in one of the most egregious witch hunts I have ever seen. She is now in her sixth year of being targeted with no end in sight to the legal costs and defamatory media articles. The corrupt county government will not pay for an attorney, so she must come up with the money herself. Rachel could have caved in and ran, but she's not stopping until the corruption is cleaned out of Maricopa County, the Arizona State Bar and judiciary.

Please read her story, spread the word or donate whatever you can. Her friends would like to raise enough money to cover her legal costs. Rachel has started using her writing for Townhall and other well-read publications to expose the horrendous abuses against conservatives - both lawyers and nonlawyers -  around the country through misuing the legal system: Dinesh D'Souza, Rick Perry, Bob McDonnell, Tom DeLay, Ted Stevens, Sheriff Arpaio and conservative bloggers to name a few. Let's keep that ball rolling!

GOP headquarters in Phoenix hit with 'Primary McCain' posters

Not sure how I feel on open v. closed primaries, but here is the article about the effort. Momentum is building and the candidate to replace him is Rep. Kelli Ward.

Sen. Kelli Ward announces exploratory committee to challenge McCain

We need bold, fresh and new conservative leadership!

Dear Friends and Supporters:

I am pleased to announce that I am exploring a run for the US Senate in 2016! I’ve started the Ward Exploratory Committee in order to test the waters and I hope you will help me make my decision.

As I look to the future, I am receiving huge support from the grassroots, encouraging me to consider a run for the US Senate in 2016. Because of the outcry for a new, positive, principled voice for Arizona in Washington, I am moving to test the waters in regard to this challenging opportunity to determine if the financial and political paths to victory really do exist.

If, during this period, it is revealed that the support exists for a US Senate run, I would run to give Arizona a powerful voice in the fight against Obamacare. I would run to stand up for the enforcement of our immigration laws and to secure the border. I would run to support the Constitution, smaller government and individual liberty. I would run as a positive, passionate, principled non-career politician. I would run to join a fresh, new generation of leaders in DC and end the stronghold that career politicians have had on our government for decades. I would run to be the voice that so many Arizonans long for from their representation in the US Senate. I would run to be your voice.

I appreciate your continued prayers, comments, and advice as I explore the possibilities. I will continue to travel the state to meet and listen to voters and look forward to making new friendships with people from all over our great state. If you would like to have me visit your group, please let me know.

As I explore this challenging opportunity, I will need more than just words backing a run - I will need funding. Frankly, I need your financial support to help me reach a decision. Informed, motivated voters lead the way to restore government of, for, and by the people. If we want Arizona represented in DC and not DC represented in Arizona, it is up to all of us. Success will take time, motivation, hard work, and money. Financial support is imperative in a David and Goliath battle.

That is why I am counting on you for a contribution of $100 today. It is a lot to ask, I know, but I need your help right now, if I cannot raise money, I can’t run! If $100 is simply not possible, please consider a contribution of $75, $50, $25, or $10.

Very good sign - Senate Conservatives Fund dares to oppose John McCain's reelection this time

In the past, this group has been afraid to challenge him. Not anymore. Now they see the writing on the wall. Far left Democrat Rep. Kyrsten Sinema is going to challenge McCain and she will beat him. No one (well, I did) thought she would win her first Congressional seat. But she has charisma and has (falsely) portrayed herself as moving to the right on illegal immigration and other issues. Let's hope the Senate Conservatives Fund rallies around Sen. Kelli Ward, a stalwart conservative who is the only one so far who dares challenge McCain in the primary.
"We recently surveyed our members in the Grand Canyon state, and 98% said they wanted a conservative alternative to support in the Republican primary." Wow. We can do this. Conservatives in Arizona are tired of being represented by the compromising, least liked member of the Senate, who has threatened so many conservatives in Arizona we've lost count.  Click here for the Senate Conservatives Fund "Replace John McCain."

Thats someone mother. kids dont have respect at all!
